Pretty amazing story from some early Cumberland/Appalachia settlers. During their 1,000 mile journey the 24 hours it took for them to get through the stretch we call Chattajack brings to mind the experiences of Hugh Glass (The Revenant). The video is 12 minutes but hopefully it will keep your attention and give additional insight into the history of the gorge.
