Chattajack veteran Miriam Sutton, from Beaufort, NC, recently ventured to Antarctica. After having dreamt of venturing across Drake Passage, south of Patagonia, Miriam finally got her ticket. She spent a week in Antarctica hiking across ice shelfs, snow-covered mountains, exploring waterways via zodiac and taking in the wildlife. She saw lots of penguins, seals, and whales (Orcas, Sei, Fin, and Humpback). Keep an eye out for Miriam’s photo exhibit coming out in February along with video edits.
